It does a good job humidifying the air, but doesn't put out so much water that everything around it is ruined. It's very quiet, you don't even notice it's running.

This humidifier has given me the ability to sleep restfully again regardless of where I end up falling asleep.

If you have allergies issues, nose bleeds (like myself) dry nose and wake up dry throat and dry nose please give it a go.
